About Jillian Gibran:
For me photography is an inseparable part of my life. I have always been fascinated by photography. This interest lead me to take up photography as a practice in my formative years, which lead me to a higher national diploma in Photography and Imaging. This was followed up by a degree course at the Manchester Metropolitan University in which I graduated with a BA Hons in photography.
Both courses have exposed me to the traditional and modern contextual ways of seeing photography, further embraced with my own cultural and personal experience. I am also a qualified member of the Royal Photography Society with an Associateship.
